Sycamore Valley Park, located at Holbrook Drive and Camino Tassajara, has a children's play area with popular recreational fountain, a reflection pond with waterfall, and a jogging path that meanders through the park.
The picnic area adjacent to the baseball diamonds include eight picnic tables and barbecue pits. In addition, a new group picnic area has been added adjacent to the bocce ball courts that will accommodate up to 65 people.
A shade structure has also been added to the bocce ball courts for those hot summer days. Children of all ages have been enjoying new play equipment including slides, swings and climbers recently installed.

On April 1, 2018, the Town of Danville's younger residents will
have more fun at two of the Town’s parks. Starting April 1, 2018 the water
play features at Hap Magee Ranch Park and Sycamore Valley Park will be turned on during the hours listed above if the temperature is over 80°F. Barring any restrictions on water usage, the water features should remain on
the normal schedule and close for the winter moratorium on October 1,

The grass areas in all parks are mowed on the following days between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Park activities which are scheduled on a grass area will be interrupted.
