• Registered Sex Offender Information

  • Since July 1, 1997, law enforcement agencies throughout the country have implemented “Megan’s Law.” Pursuant to Penal Code section 290.4, police departments are to make sex registrant information available to the public, upon their request. California’s Megan’s Law makes available to adults; juveniles accompanied by parent or guardian, and organizations information on “Serious” and “High Risk” sex offenders in their local community.

The California Attorney General's Office has unveiled a Megan's Law internet site containing information on sex offenders.
