When reporting outages, please be prepared to provide the light pole number to assure timely repair of the correct pole.
The street light pole number is located on the street side of the pole, about 8 feet up from the base.
Also, please have the address of the pole, the nearest cross street, and a description of the issue. For example, if the light totally fails to go on, or if it flickers or goes on and off randomly.

Local Pipeline Information
Following the recent tragedy in San Bruno, residents have expressed concerns regarding the presence of and safety of natural gas pipelines in the Town of Danville. The Town Council would like to reassure the citizens of Danville that none of the natural gas transmission pipelines in or near Danville are included on the list of the top 100 planned pipeline repairs as published by PG&E. Additional information on the list of proposed projects can be found at www.pge.com.
The Town of Danville is served by a small (less than 9-inch diameter) natural gas pipeline, much smaller than the line involved in San Bruno. The location of the pipeline can be seen on the National Pipeline Mapping System Public Viewer (NPMS).
