2-1-1 in Contra Costa County is a program of the Contra Costa Crisis Center.
The Crisis Center’s mission is to keep people alive and safe, help them through crises, and connect them with culturally relevant resources in the community. They do this by operating a variety of countywide programs that serve residents of Contra Costa County, California.
Goals and policies of the Crisis Center are set by an 11-member board of trustees. A staff of 20 manages day-to-day operations and directs program services. The staff is assisted by 250 active volunteers who donate more than 25,000 hours per year.
