It’s that time of year again. The holiday season is upon us and the Town of Danville has great ways for youth in the community to have fun.
For the younger crowd, the extremely popular Elf Workshop will be held for the first time this year on two different days. In order to accommodate the huge numbers of Danville children who want to partake in this great event, the new session this year is scheduled on Friday December 9, 2016 from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. The following day are the two more regularly held session Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fees are $7/residents, $9/non-residents.
For those middle school aged kids, there is the annual Homemade Holiday event. Held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., tweens can come to the Danville Community Center and enjoy a fun afternoon creating crafts, hanging out with friends and enjoying great snacks. Cost for this event is $9/residents, $11/non-residents.
This event is very popular each year and fills up fast so be sure to pre-register now! Unfortunately, due to space limitations, no walk-ins are allowed.
