•  Volunteer Opportunities

  • The Town of Danville provides opportunities for Danville citizens to contribute to their community by volunteering for various event and programs. The Town has opportunities for individuals and groups looking for a community project.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to discover new interests, meet new people, and develop new skills. Assignments are available on a long and short term basis depending on the needs of the department.

Several additional volunteer opportunities exist as well, working with special recreation, special events and youth and teen events. Volunteers can also help out at the Danville Community and Town Offices, community events such as Primo’s Run for Education, The Museum of the San Ramon Valley, and community theatre groups.

    To Sign Up:

Use the Search for Service Projects to find current on-going opportunities or use Search for Events to volunteer at one of our many City community events. If you are not interested in any current events or projects, you can create a volunteer profile to receive emails about future volunteer opportunities.

Why is my birth date required on the application?

Many of our volunteer opportunities are not suitable for children, others are for seniors only. Because some of our programs are age specific, it is necessary for us to ask for your birth date.

    Manage your profile:

From either the events or service projects menu, select "Register for an Event or Manage Your Profile" to update your contact information, interests, or to view the events you are signed up for.

    Important Legal Information

All volunteers for the Town of Danville are required to agree to the a Waiver/Release of Liability before participation in any volunteer project or event. Children under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission to volunteer Waiver/Release for Children. The Waiver/Release is not necessary to create a volunteer profile or sign up for an event.
